Hunter residence
The house is located on a large sized lot on an acreage development outside the city with views on the river valley. The development was controlled by architectural guidelines with no architect in site. 7 in 12 roof slopes, artificial stone, minimum 2000 square foot area and three car front facing garage. The roof lines are very prominent. Roofs and fascias are covered with a copper penny colored metal panel roof system. Walls are covered with Californian stucco with a base of the prescribed stone. windows are made of edge grain fir. Mini loft in the garage and living spaces were created due to the steep slopes. From the center of the house there is access to a deck. Interior finishes are grey/black tiles and painted drywall for the walls and ceilings. The heating and hot water supply is done with a geothermal system.
